1993 Bombay March 12 is a 2011 released Mammootty film. The movie is based on Mumbai riots and the effects it had on people. Mammootty plays the role of Sanathanan Bhatt. The film revolves around the effects of the blasts in the lives of three common men. Bombay March 12, which is Babu Janardhanan's debut directorial venture, has Mammootty in the lead and goes back in time, to the early 1990's. Roma and Unni Mukundan play the other lead roles.
